The name and inspiration for the Pumps EP is derived from New York's infamous strip club, PUMPS. Located on the border of Queens and Brooklyn on the English Kills Canal, it's one of the last holdouts of seedy and unkempt Brooklyn, now that the high rises and artisanal establishments have taken over. The EP consists of three original tracks and a remix by LA-4A that are meant to capture this vibe through raw analog sequences and drum programming.
