With an emphasis on pushing boundaries, Tunnel’s live performances are a kinetic blend of quality techno and experimental sounds. The complexity of his style - combining elements of classic techno, sub bass, drone, broken rhythms, and melodic abstractions - create a hypnotic fervor and emotional resonance that grabs attention and won’t let go. Vibrating with emotion and intensity, his meticulously controlled and dynamic sets create an experience that exists somewhere between communal ritual and personal séance. He’s performed across the US and Europe, making his Berlin debut at the infamous GEGEN event-series. He returned again in 2018, by request, a rare privilege!
If you’ve been an avid collector of innovative techno and experimental over recent years then you’ll most likely know the label, Webuildmachines. Tunnel launched his record label, Webuildmachines, in 2013. The label’s prolific output of releases have garnered high praise and charted recognition from big players within the techno and electronic music community – Perc, Paula Temple, Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Ben Sims, Tommy Four Seven, Drumcell, Electric Indigo, and Claude Young, to name only a few.
Tunnel, as an artist and label curator, began a brand new residency for the Destination Fu#ked series of parties throughout 2018. The last event lineup included Perc, Black Asteroid, MVSB, and Tunnel. Every Tunnel performance is an opportunity to participate in, and witness, the evolution of techno music.
