Biography
VASE came to light in late 2017 with the debut Solarium ( A R T S ), an essentialist output, which placed elements of dub, industrial and surreal textures into a unique lacework that attracted a remix from experimental producer Mike Parker.
A recent string a of releases on INDEX:Records have shown an adventurous approach to electronic genres. Dorsal swayed from ambient to avant-garde soundscapes while skidding through IDM.
Live performances employ the use of field recordings and modular systems, creatively bending spaces and casting an obscure sense of atmosphere and eclectic rhythm on any room.
Raised in Venezuela and Mexico, VASE currently resides in Berlin.
